About this project
There are a number of old (1890 - 1930) headstones in an area of the Karori Cemetery, public area 2, also known as Gum Gully, which has fallen in to disrepair.
The Friends of the Karori Cemetery have spent considerable hours clearing this area and cleaning the headstones.
A number of neglected, and perhaps forgotten Chinese headstones, have been found and this website is intended to document them. We hope to add small biographies where possible.
Please use the navigation bar at the top right ... only entries for Karori will be found and added to in due course.
